I stay at the Ashirwad\u00a0palace, and over there every independence day there is a marathon organized. I have been living there for a long time however but never participated even once. In the year 2018, I decided to take part in it for a good cause, spreading awareness\u00a0regarding the depleting resources for future use and why we should conserve it in order to survive. My friends and I made posters to make it even more significant.<\/p>\n

L3- initiate and plan a CAS experience<\/p>\n

Every year Ashirwad committee organizes marathon but this time I wanted to spread\u00a0awareness,\u00a0 and make it worthwhile. I initiated the plan and asked some of my friends to participate in the event. We planned to make posters and take it with us in the marathon.<\/p>\n

L4-commitment to and perseverance,<\/p>\n

I am not good at making artwork, hence it took time for me to create artwork and I had to go to my friend’s house many times to make posters.<\/p>\n

L5-. Demonstrate the skills and benefits of working collaboratively,<\/p>\n

My teammate had good artwork skills, which helped us making\u00a0posters which were attractive. The work us equally divided which made the process much faster and left a greater impact on the audience. It was more significant with a team working upon it.<\/p>\n

L6-engagement with issues of global significance,<\/p>\n

Nowadays the whole world is facing issues related to water, water is a scarce\u00a0resource and if not taken care of, the future generations will face problems and it will not be possible to survive without it. In hope of a sustainable future, we need to save resources. I want to contribute to this sustainable future.<\/p>\n

L7-Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions<\/p>\n

Before saying anything to someone else we first I need to follow it. So I cut the usage of water significantly. I like having long hot baths, but in order to save water I started taking bath in cold water, so I took a shower for less than 5 minutes after that.<\/p>\n
