CAS Profile

My name is Khushi Gajjar. I am 17 years 346 days old (so technically 18). I study in Fountainhead School located in Surat. I have taken Psychology, Business Management, and Hindi B as my HL. I have taken Biology, Maths and English language literature as my SL. These subjects indicate my inclinations towards humanities which focus on human behavior and physiology.

I am a movie freak who is still struggling to find her favorite genre yet. Apart from watching movies, you will see me arguing with someone about something, but at the time I have learned to listen to what the other person has to say (Credit goes to IB for it). Not just that, you will probably find me singing some of the other symphonies. And lastly playing basketball which gives me an adrenaline rush everytime I step onto the court.

My outlook on life is that everyone has something to contribute to the world the only difference between their contribution is how many people are influenced by it. I firmly believe that if each individual can bring a change which they wish to see, then the world would have been a much safer and more comfortable place to live. But things are changing due to the attempt of providing the optimum conditions to each individual. Although these attempts aren’t made enough for women because of the mentality of assuming them as incapable and objectified in the societies. I would not call myself a feminist as the world has changed the meaning to equality for women is inequality for men, but as a woman, I do feel the need to give equal opportunities and freedom to women.

To accomplish my goals in my life, I do think that I need to have better-listening skills and have a high tolerance towards people even though if I don’t agree with them. Additionally, I would like to be involved in activities which help in changing societal norms and establishing a balance of equality among different genders.

I am an adventurous person which doesn’t mean I am not scared of doing such things but doing those things which makes me go “I cannot do this” are the things which motivate to take a step ahead. I want to learn how to surf, make sure to do the terrifying roller coasters in the world and lastly get a cat as my pet.
