Me, My passion and what drives me.
Hello. My name is Shridhar, and I am 17 years old. My parents and relatives mention that when I am under pressure, and there are challenges on my path I work on my full potential to ace and complete that task. In addition, they also mention that my grasping power is strong and I have information on some topics so that I can interact with people related to that discussion.
I am passionate about swimming and badminton. These are two sports that I play regularly and compete in tournaments. Swimming is something that keeps me engaged, and badminton helps me to develop my body.
I am an aviation enthusiast. I like to learn about the aircraft and airline industry. I am inclined towards travelling and exploring different hotels. I keep up with the aviation news and hospitality industry news. Hotels and aviation attract me the most.
I want to improve my badminton skills to the advanced level. I undoubtedly think that I can ace in more badminton tournaments and improve my receptive skills to react faster to the outcome and hit the shuttle. This will not only elevate my skills to the next level but will also develop my body, speed, and flexibility.
I further want to be involved in more service and creativity opportunities and to innovate and contribute some part to society. CAS is such an incredible platform to describe me in every way possible and maximise the existing potential. It has helped me develop as a person and overall. The involvement in creativity will spark ideas in future and help me to grow with the experiences.
My outlook on life
CAS has made my IBDP life balanced, and that is what you need when IB submissions and tests come upon you. In general, IB has created a holistic atmosphere where you achieve and pursue your interests, and the components lead to you to a more experienced life ahead. I got to learn a plethora of things and events which helped me take up new challenges and do hard work to get yourself on the track. It also taught me how to work according to priorities which eases the workload and to some extent eliminates procrastination. In my opinion, I have fewer aspirations towards getting engaged in more issues of global significance because of lack of experience and making a less positive change. Actions matter the most. To say is easy but to do is difficult. However, I am open to challenges that I could really undertake and make the most out of it.
I am concerned about putting on more weight. I don’t want to get obese. GYM fitness and sports is really how I work upon my body and to stay fit. I also do cycling in the morning. Something I had an issue and concerned about is the environment. I always am interested in seeing how innovative ideas help reduce environmental degradation and use of biodegradable items to keep the environment pollution free. I am simultaneously working to eliminate procrastination and planning to work accordingly to make my mind stress free.
My goals, and my dreams
Business management and entrepreneurship have gained my attention. I am and want to learn more about business and its functions. It might be ambitious of opening my chain of hotels which I think I am most interested in, and by taking small steps and learning more from my further education and my father and uncle, I think I can scale big. Developing the entrepreneurial mind in myself and learning from experiences will make sure I do best at what I am doing. Furthermore, one thing I need to start doing regularly is reading life-changing books which will help me in my further studies and also in future.
I have a drive for business and my passions which I will continue to explore and develop. Learning new things will always be part of my life and build my character and personality both.
