My CAS Profile!

I am Divij Sanjanwala from Fountainhead School, Surat studying IBDP. The CAS profile reflects my longing to take part in extracurricular activities about community service, creativity, and physical activities.

This CAS profile even shows my talents and interests towards activities that I took part in this span of 18 months. Activities like, mountain climbing, adventure cycling, and state level swimming shows my abilities and interest in taking part in physical activities; Teaching, making websites, and cooking represent my interest towards creative activities; Conducting activities with the underprivileged children, campaigning for bullying, and being a cyber congress member represents my longing towards making the society a better place to live.

At some point in time, I may have lacked specific skills at which I am new at. Skills, like working in a group and undergoing rigorous activities, has always been a downside of my CAS experience. However, I have always intended to work upon them and develop them to prosper as a complete human being. As this CAS opportunity gives me a chance to work upon skills I lack, I have worked to make my skills better and prosper further in life.

During this CAS experience, I have observed the shortcomings of the society that I think should be worked upon. I attempted to work upon the lack of facilities provided to the underprivileged children, but there is still an ample amount of work left to be done. Governments tend to fall short on expenditure to curb these shortcomings in the world. However, we as individuals, are equally responsible for the fate of the society. Henceforth, I have even attempted to work upon to gather people who and willing and able to work to curb the problems of lack of education and facilities.

I have even had some plans to participate at the national level. Swimming competitions, but due to lack of time and an ample amount of work to be done, I had forgone the opportunities I came across.

However, I feel after getting enough time after the completion of IBDP; I will be able to work upon the left out opportunities. Possibly, I will indulge myself in activities like adventure cycling and long distance swimming that I missed out due to lack of time. Adventure cycling was fascinating in my first attempt for the Leh-Manali highway. Attempting another such journey to a different beautiful destination will be even more exciting.
