CAS Profile

Whats Up? The Names Aryan Kapasia. Welcome To My CAS Blog. Where You Come To Read A Book Of A High-School Teenager Going Through What Not. Talking About How IB Has Made A Difference In My Life Which May Go Either Way. Enjoy.

Who am I?

A Question which baffles you to the core, I happen to be a 17 year old boy trying to find out where my future lies. A boy who has tried everything, music, sports, poetry, drama, you name it! In short, I’m a teenager who loves markets but more than that ” public speaking”.

I happen to love drama and public speaking, as a kid I was always told to be expressive and never let anything rot inside. I’ve always loved the idea about sharing perspectives and communicating our views. Funny how sometimes it become annoying but it’s totally worth it. I love football, or soccer how my nation seems to call it. The love for this sport is unimaginable, I am able to talk non-stop about the whats going on and whats not in the world of ” Football”.

However when it comes to not studying or playing or especially talking. In my little world, I love to write in my journals and notes, read about different economics news and listen to all types of music. When it comes to writing, I tend to write about everything which is going on in my messed up head. I sometimes write poetry, write different types of stories or even just talk to myself. Feels weird talking about it, but it’s just something which makes me who I am today. Coming to one of my favourite of subjects and just topics, I love to understand how the world works. Economics being that concept, I tend to read what I see. I’m not a fan of reading but this gets me going. Coming to the last section of my tiny world, I love to different genres of music. I currently listen to Rap and Hip-Hop but I’ve listened to EDM, Rock, Jazz, pretty much everything. The things that help me breathe in the life of a IB Student.

What I have learned through CAS?

The question should be what have I not learned through CAS? Over the 2 years, through CAS I’ve happened to learn and influence so many individuals coming from all ages. CAS has opened my personality to new zones, I’ve seen a new side open up due to the involvement of CAS. You have to understand, that your personality has so much to grow for, you barely know yourself, and so when you take up such opportunities you are bound to change. I’ve changed drastically, I’ve seen a more responsible and creative human being. In short, CAS has changed all through my inner core. I may have not liked the idea at the start, but am extremely content now.

So what’s next?

Who Knows? The plan is to make a career in my long list of passions. Firstly, finish up IB and then I guess chill for a while.
