Building Muscle strength at my Gym

I was a bit overweight at the beginning of the year as I was being inconsistent with my exercise and so I committed to start gyming on a daily basis so that I could regain my figure again and rebuild a strong abdomen and core.

The process that I took on was basically to go to the gym 6 days a week and workout for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 1 and a half hours a day. Each day would have ad different body part of focus and I would exercise on the basis of the body part that I want to train.

  • Commitment and Perseverance:

Gyming and Exercising is an activity which requires consistency, commitment, and perseverance. At first, the activity seemed to strain me.It was very difficult for me to take time from my academics and dedicate almost one hour daily to the gym or to get up and go to the gym on weekends. Although good music and passion brought me to a scheduled and active lifestyle again. You think that yes it would be very simple going to the gym every day for an hour at the same time doing the same things then having a body ache while coming home, all of that would be a cakewalk but NO! the mental strength needed is insane and to motivate me into doing that every single day was a rollercoaster ride

  • Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills: I am the type of person who likes to eat anything and everything, and it was very challenging for me to restrict myself to a fixed diet. Secondly, the activities in the gym were very difficult. It had been a long time since I had stepped into a gym so it was difficult for me to start over and do such exercises. Also, my endurance and stamina were very less, so I used to get tired very easily. But I worked on it and increased my stamina to a certain extent and accomplished this challenge.

Towards the end of this activity, I was able to lose around 10 Kg and also start the formation of a strong abdomen.
