Gym

Health and Fitness is very important in life. Therefore to maintain it, going to the gym and working out is a must. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week to work on my fitness.

These are the leaning outcomes I have met while this activity was performed:

L1. Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

When working on personal fitness, understanding our strengths and weaknesses is very important. By doing this, we can determine what is more important and what needs more work. In the gym, knowing your weaknesses allows you to work specifically on them. This also enables you to develop areas for growth while you work out. Everyday I experience new strengths and weaknesses in my body which plays a major role in deciding what I have to work on. So therefore identifying my strengths and developing areas for growth was something that was done throughout the activity,

L2. Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

There are new exercises that I perform everyday with greater difficulty levels and therefore challenges are undertaken on a day to day basis in the gym. Without challenges there is no way you can develop new skills. Personally, by performing exercises with greater difficulties, I have developed new skills like, increase stamina, greater strength etc. This was only possible because new challenges were undertaken.

With this CAS activity which took place over two years and is still in progress, I have developed a lot of new skills and this has also helped me in performing my sport (Basketball) in a better way.
