On our first day of grade  11, our school took us to a beach . Our fundamental point was to clean the shoreline. We were given rubbish sacks and gloves. We were partitioned into groups and each groups responsibility was to fill the sacks.

The learning results that I accomplished are:

LO-6. Exhibit commitment with issues of worldwide criticalness.

So the issue was that the beach was not clean and we were given the task to clean the the beach as pollution is happening all around the world and we should need take some initiative prevent this happening and not harm the environment.The threat of waste to the environment, health and safety is huge. And so are the financial and social ramifications, waste experts say. Pollution runs into rivers and seeps into ground water. Flooding is caused by garbage  clogging drains, and the atmosphere can be poisoned by the toxic discharge from trash and that is why this is a global problem.Learn about the major polluters in your area to protect the air and water where you live. Encourage people to stop pollution, tell them everything you know about this problem, and protest local polluters together. Knowing about this global issue I learnt that The masses should be educated on the danger of different types of pollution, people should know everything about all consequences of the environmental pollution in order to prevent the worst from happening. Let`s protect the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the soil we use to grow our food and don’t throw grow garbage anywhere the government is doing there best now its your turn. Now after knowing this issue it make me feel more responsible as now I will think ten times when I do something wrong which harms the environment.

LO-7. Perceive and think about the morals of decisions and activities.

There were many ethical issue involved in this problem some were

-Is it ethical to throw garbage anywhere and everywhere because throwing garbage on the road or on the beach will harm the environment and will harm the nature.

This issue is affecting all the individuals and the nature indirectly  because we are the one who are increasing this problem and we are the hypocrite in this situation. This issue made me feel responsible towards our environment and I will also try to spread this issue so that one good day this issue might end.

My opinion was completely different before visiting the beach I never gave any concerns to the environment and the nature but after visiting the beach and seeing  the amount of garbage over there my perspective to this issue has changed completely and now I will put my efforts to prevent this issue happening in my area.
